There are often reasons to explain experiences, whether it be a certain activity, word, or substance that triggers a chemical reaction, a certain feeling that is induced when getting it, or even the feelings you lose while under it.
From a young age we are told to reach for the stars, dream and rely on what we can't always we but know their always there.
Longing for that which is impossible is pointless, they all knew it but still did nothing but dream of what they could have. How they dreamed of being far from here lost in all of the wonders of the world but alas despite the attempts of escape the only freedom they had was held in the words of books and stories. ...

The laughter or others
That once had killed

Feelings which she couldn't explain
Were nothing but a fight
A plea to wish away pain
The heart she had broken in pieces
By the ones she once trusted
A heart which once softened the creases
Now a bundle of what people lusted
The remains of a beautiful twisted angel
Covered by the sinful pleasure of death
Is where your veins are in a tangle
